About the player
Loaned in from Racing Club in 2019, the forward scored 28 goals in 60 appearances across all competitions, 27 of them in the league, and was named to the Categoría Primera A Best XI for both the Apertura and Finalización that year. That form earned him a move to Pumas UNAM in January 2020, a transfer reported at $4.2 million.
At Pumas, Dinenno became the club's tenth-highest scorer in its history, with 60 goals in 145 appearances between 2020 and 2023. He had already been named to the Liga MX Best XI in 2020.
The move to Brazil proved harder. Dinenno joined Cruzeiro in January 2024 and suffered a serious knee injury that year. His contract there was rescinded, and in July 2025 he signed a short-term deal with São Paulo, where he made eight appearances and scored once.
In December 2025, Dinenno agreed to return to Deportivo Cali for the 2026 season on a free transfer. Two goals in 17 appearances so far. Between his two spells at the Colombian club, he sits among its all-time top scorers with around 30 goals.
