Janio Pósito

Janio Pósito's career reads like a tour of Peru's football pyramid, club by club. He turned professional at Sporting Cristal, then spent stretches at Coronel Bolognesi and Carlos A. Mannucci before settling at José Gálvez in 2011, where he won the Torneo Intermedio and the Segunda División title. He found the net 31 times in 85 appearances for Los Caimanes between 2012 and 2016 and lifted a second Segunda División crown in 2013.

At Sport Rosario in 2017 he finished as the club's top scorer with 12 goals, a return that helped steer them into the Copa Sudamericana and prompted his move to Alianza Lima the following January, where he scored nine goals in 28 matches, including strikes against Melgar. He then had a run of one-year stops — Melgar, UTC Cajamarca, Cusco FC, Ayacucho FC.

At Deportivo Binacional in 2022 he struck 15 goals in 28 appearances and finished third in the Liga 1 scoring charts with 13 league goals, and at ADT across 2023 and 2024 he added 23 goals in 66 matches. After a season at Sport Huancayo, he joined Los Chankas, the club formerly known as Cultural Santa Rosa, in early 2026, before moving on to Juan Pablo II College by the middle of the year.
