Joaquín Ignacio Gutiérrez Jara

Joaquín Gutiérrez is a product of the Huachipato academy, where he progressed through the youth categories before making his professional debut for the first team in September 2020. The right-back went on to make 129 league appearances for the club, becoming a regular in the side over the following years.

His time at Huachipato brought two of the biggest honours in the club's history. In 2023 he won the Chilean Primera División title, the club's third league championship, and that same season he was recognised as the under-21 player with the most minutes played in the First Division. Two years later he added the Copa Chile, beating Deportes Limache in the final in December 2025 — the first Copa Chile title Huachipato had ever won.

Gutiérrez has also represented Chile at youth level. He was part of the squad for the 2020 South American U-20 Championship and played in the Granja Comary Tournament, where Chile finished as runners-up. He was later included in Chile's squad for the 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament at under-23 level, making three appearances in that competition. He has been mentioned in the Chilean press as a name on the fringes of the senior national team picture, though he has not made his debut with La Roja.

In January 2026, Gutiérrez moved to Deportes La Serena on a one-year loan from Huachipato.
