About the player
Juan Miguel Arrayago signed his first professional contract with Independiente in September 2026, tying him to the club through December 2028. The left-footed centre-back came through the club's youth ranks after arriving around 2024 from Club Atlético in Ayacucho.
At Independiente he worked his way through the inferiores, picking up a youth championship along the way before stepping up to the reserve side, Independiente II, and eventually into first-team contention. In the 2026 season he made five appearances for the senior squad, four of them in the Liga Profesional Clausura and one in the Copa Argentina, totalling 360 minutes on the pitch. In that Copa Argentina match against Atlético Tucumán he picked up a yellow card.
