About the player
For that season she won the MAC Hermann Trophy, becoming the first North Carolina player to do so since Crystal Dunn in 2012, alongside the Honda Sports Award for Soccer and TopDrawerSoccer's National Player of the Year award.
Her path to Chapel Hill ran through Phoenix, where she progressed through SC del Sol and Phoenix Rising's youth ranks before being named Offensive Player of the Year in the AIA 6A Conference at Pinnacle High School. A senior season in 2025 followed the record-breaking junior year — 11 goals in 21 appearances.
Faasse signed a three-year contract with Houston Dash in January 2026 and made her professional debut in March, starting in a 1–0 win over San Diego Wave. She got off the mark as a professional against the same opponent in May, scoring her first NWSL goal. She has also passed through United States youth national team identification camps and was selected for Emma Hayes' Futures Camp in 2025, which trains alongside the senior USWNT.
