Kirian Rodríguez Concepción

Kirian Rodríguez Concepción grew up in Candelaria, on Tenerife, and started out at the local Escuela Municipal before moving into CD Tenerife's youth ranks. A loan to CD Ofra took him through his school years before Las Palmas took him into their academy in 2014, a move he made while also studying Communication at university. He worked his way up through the club's reserve sides, playing 48 times for Las Palmas Atlético in the Tercera División before earning his promotion to the first team in June 2019.

He made his senior debut that same month, on 2 June 2019, against UD Almería in the Segunda División, and scored his first professional goal the following year against Extremadura UD. Since then he has stayed at Las Palmas without interruption. He renewed his contract with the club in September 2018 and has since extended it through to 2028.

At youth level, Rodríguez was capped four times for Spain's U17s and was part of the U21 squad that won the 2019 European Championship. His form at club level has since put him on the radar of the senior national team: he was named in preliminary squads for matches against England and Colombia in March 2024 and for that summer's Euros, though a debut for the senior side has not yet followed.
