About the player
Nice-born forward Keenan Nino Carole spent almost his entire youth career at Leeds United, having joined the club's academy at the age of nine. He signed his first professional contract there in July 2022, and went on to make 16 appearances for the Leeds United U21 side in the 2023/2024 season, without ever breaking into the first team. He was released when his contract expired in the summer of 2024.
Carole then moved to Switzerland, joining Servette FC on a free transfer, initially featuring for the club's U21 team. In February 2025 he went out on loan to Slovenian side NK Tabor Sežana for the rest of the season, making 27 appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the Slovenian second division.
That loan spell led to a permanent move to HNK Gorica in July 2026, on a free transfer, with Carole signing a contract running until 2029. At Gorica he is used as a right-sided winger.
He has yet to add a senior trophy or individual award to his name, though he did score notable goals for Leeds United in the PL International Cup during his time in the academy. His path so far has been built on free transfers and loan moves rather than transfer fees.
