Natalie Ann Jacobs

Natalie Jacobs came up through Slammers FC before college soccer took her first to Notre Dame, where she was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team, and then to USC, where she helped the Trojans reach the Elite 8 of the NCAA Championship. LA Galaxy OC, where she scored four goals in fourteen appearances, a brief spell at Washington Spirit, a year in Spain with Real Betis Féminas, and then three seasons at Houston Dash that turned into her most substantial NWSL stint.

At Houston she became a fixture of a defence that, in 2023, posted eight clean sheets and conceded just 18 goals — the third-lowest total in NWSL history — and she was part of the group that took the Dash to their first-ever playoff appearance in 2022. That run is the clearest mark she has left on a club so far. In September 2025 she was traded to North Carolina Courage in exchange for Malia Berkely and intra-league transfer funds, and she has since been named to the NWSL Team of the Week in her new colours.

Internationally, Jacobs has stayed at youth level. She won 20 caps for the United States U-20s, including three appearances at the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea, where she scored the equaliser in the 89th minute of the semi-final against Korea DPR to force the match into overtime. She also featured in U-23 camps in 2016 and 2017, picking up caps against Sweden and Norway.
