Nicolás Delgadillo

Nicolás Delgadillo made his professional debut at Vélez Sarsfield at just seventeen, and a year later, in 2016, Goal.com named him one of the fifty best young talents in the world in the inaugural NxGN list, a selection that drew reported interest from Real Madrid and Valencia. That early promise did not translate into a settled career at Vélez: across several seasons he was farmed out on loan, first to San Martín de Tucumán, then to Patronato, where he made 48 appearances, and later to Platense.

He left Vélez Sarsfield in 2022 after seven years at the club. Since then he has moved club to club at roughly a season apiece: a free transfer to Atlético Rafaela in 2023, then to Colón in January 2024, where he made 21 appearances before a move abroad. In January 2025 he joined Costa Rica's Deportivo Saprissa, where he scored three goals in 30 appearances before departing by mutual agreement in December 2025.

Delgadillo signed for Atlético Grau at the end of January 2026 and started in a 2-0 defeat to UTC in the Torneo Apertura.

At international level, his involvement dates back to November 2015, when he was called up to Argentina's under-20 side by coach Humberto Grondona. He operates primarily as a left winger, though he has also featured as an attacking midfielder during his career.
