Ognjen Bakić

Ognjen Bakić moved on a free transfer to HNK Gorica in August 2025, signing a contract that runs until 2028, and has made 27 appearances for the club, scoring once. It followed a season at HNK Šibenik in which he made 33 appearances after his move there in July 2024.

His path had already taken a sharp turn by then. He left NK Olimpija Ljubljana for NK Osijek in 2022, playing for both the reserve side and the first team and making 13 senior appearances in 2022–23. In September 2023 he joined Trabzonspor on a free transfer, agreeing a 2+2 year contract. He never made an official appearance for the Turkish club, and in July 2024 the deal was ended by mutual consent, with no compensation paid to the player.

Bakić's route into senior football began at OFK Grbalj in Kotor, before he joined the Olimpija Ljubljana academy in 2019, coming through the club's U17 and U19 sides. He made his senior debut for Olimpija in April 2021. Although he did not feature in the final, he was part of the squad that won the Slovenian Cup in the 2020–21 season.

At international level, Bakić has represented Montenegro through the youth ranks, from the U15s up to the U21s, scoring at several of those age levels, including three goals in 13 appearances for the U17s. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
