About the player
Ronald stands 160 centimetres tall. Born in Bom Jesus do Itabapoana, in Rio de Janeiro state, he came up through the youth ranks at Internacional and Botafogo-SP before joining Boavista's B side in Portugal.
He returned to Brazil the following year, signing for Botafogo-SP, and by 2021 had moved on to Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro. He then had spells at Novorizontino, Água Santa, Vila Nova, Operário Ferroviário and CRB, before a stint at Santa Cruz. The pattern held once he arrived at Tombense on a free transfer in January 2026.
At Tombense he featured in the Campeonato Mineiro and in Série C. In the 2026 edition of the Mineiro he made ten appearances and scored once.
Tombense themselves had reached the semi-finals of the Campeonato Mineiro in 2025, before their run ended against Atlético-MG, though that campaign predated Ronald's arrival at the club.
