Tobias Cervera

Tobías Ariel Cervera Cadi's path to international football runs through his mother's side of the family: qualifying for Syria through a maternal grandfather, he made his senior debut for the national side on 11 June 2024 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Japan, a match Syria lost 5–0. He has since won three caps without scoring.

Born in Mar del Plata, Cervera came up through Quilmes, where he trained alongside players who went on to become internationals themselves, including Santiago Sosa, and had a trial at River Plate as a boy. His senior career began at Aldosivi in 2022, and he made an immediate mark there with 32 league appearances and nine goals before the club was relegated. That form led Rosario Central to sign him permanently in August 2023, in a deal covering half of his rights for around a million dollars.

Since arriving at Rosario Central, Cervera has barely kicked a ball for the club itself, moving instead through a chain of loans. At Platense he made 8 appearances and picked up a winner's medal when the club won the 2025 Apertura. Further loan spells followed at Aldosivi and at Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza, before he moved on loan to 2 de Mayo from July 2026.

Cervera is primarily a centre-forward, though he has also featured as a midfielder over the course of his career.
