Uno Shiragaki

Uno Shiragaki came through the Cerezo Osaka Sakai academy, moving up through the club's youth ranks before joining the senior squad of Cerezo Osaka Yanmar Ladies in February 2024. By then she had already made her mark internationally: at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup she scored twice, against Canada and Tanzania, and she went on to reach the final of the 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup with Japan's U-20 side before falling short again at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia, where Japan finished as runners-up.

At club level she became a regular fixture in defence, making 73 appearances across the Nadeshiko League and the WE League, which Cerezo Osaka joined in 2023, and adding three goals along the way. Her form earned her a senior call-up to Nadeshiko Japan, and she made her debut in February 2025 against Canada, coming on for Hikaru Kitagawa.

In March 2026, Shiragaki completed a move to North Carolina Courage on a three-year contract. The transfer made her the third Japanese player at the club, joining Manaka Matsukubo and Shinomi Koyama. She had made three appearances for her new club by April 2026.
