Cukaricki U19

In Belgrade's Čukarica district, a group of local footballers wanted a club that carried the neighbourhood's name, and they registered ČSK — Čukarički sport klub — in 1926. The team that grew out of that decision took the black and white it still wears and the nickname Čuka, and by the early 1930s it was already making a name for itself in the capital, and a Belgrade Cup in 1967 before Yugoslav First Division football arrived at the club in 1995.

Relegation and money troubles brought the club low in 2011, and it took a change of ownership to turn things round: Dragan Obradović bought in through ADOC in 2012 and rebuilt the side from the lower tiers. The gamble paid off. Čukarički won the Serbian Cup in 2014–15, and returned to a cup final in 2022–23, losing that one. In the league the club has settled into the role of the SuperLiga's most persistent outsider at the top end, finishing third five times without ever quite breaking into the title picture held by Belgrade's bigger clubs — the derby against OFK Beograd, played as the 'Mali beogradski derbi', is where that rivalry with the capital's older names still shows itself most sharply.

The ground on Banovo brdo holds barely 4,000 people, small enough that a promising teenager rarely goes unnoticed there. Aleksandar Kolarov is the name supporters bring up first — the left-back who wore Čuka's colours before his career carried him into Serbia's national side, still the club's clearest proof that a footballer can be spotted on Banovo brdo and go a long way from it.
