Raal La Louviere Women

Winning the second-tier ACFF title in April 2025 came with an emphatic scoreline: a 10-1 win over White Star Woluwe B settled the D2 championship and, with it, a place in the Lotto Women's Pro League for 2026-2027. The result capped a run that took Les Louves, as the side is known, from a standing start to Belgium's top flight.

The women's section only came into being in 2019, two years after Salvatore Curaba had put RAAL La Louvière back together as a club. There was no old women's team to revive, no history to fold back in.

Edward Still oversees a squad reinforced by signings from outside Belgium, among them the French international Lya Galodé, who arrived from Le Mans FC.

Behind both teams sits an older, unresolved history: the original RAA Louviéroise, wound up in 2009, once lifted the Belgian Cup in 2003 under a different registration number. The club now playing under the RAAL name is legally a fresh entity, matricule 94 rather than 93.

Promotion moves the team into a stadium built for the step up. The Easi Arena, which opened in 2025 in place of the old Stade du Tivoli, holds 8,050.
