Super League Women (Belgium) 2026/27

The Belgian top flight for women’s football operates under the name Super League Women. Founded in 2015, the competition replaced the joint Belgian-Dutch BeNe League. It holds the highest position in the national football pyramid. The league is organized by the Pro League, the same body responsible for the men's professional divisions. This structure makes it distinct in Europe, as it is managed by the men's professional league organization under the umbrella of the Royal Belgian Football Association. The season comprises eight clubs. During the regular campaign, each team plays every opponent three times, totaling 21 matches. Following this period, the league divides into two playoff groups. The top four teams enter the Championship Play-off, where points from the regular season are halved. They play a double round-robin format over six matches. The winner of this group is crowned champion and gains entry to the UEFA Women's Champions League. The bottom four teams contest the Relegation Play-off to avoid dropping to the Belgian Women's First Division A. Currently, promotion to the Super League is handled directly for the champion of the First Division A without a playoff system. RSC Anderlecht stands as the most successful club in the league's history, securing seven titles between 2018 and 2024. Standard Liège claimed the inaugural two editions. More recently, OH Leuven became the first club to win consecutive championships in the Super League era, taking the 2024–25 and 2025–26 titles. The competition has undergone format changes, such as reducing the number of participants from ten to eight during the 2024–25 season. Sponsorship names have included Lotto Super League and the current Scooore Super League. The league sits at Level 1 of the Belgian football pyramid.
