Usti nad Labem

Basketball came to the club through Květoslav Soukup, a schoolteacher who put together the section in 1946 under the Sokol Ústí nad Labem banner. Sokol gave way to TJ Lokomotiva in 1951, then to BK Spolchemie and BK SČP, and finally to BK Ústí nad Labem. The current name, SLUNETA, dates to 2009 and comes from the shopping centre that backs the team — the arena, Sportcentrum SLUNETA, seats 1,600 and now serves as home court.

Thad McFadden spent three seasons in Ústí nad Labem from 2009 and was named the Czech league's Player of the Year in 2011–12. A year before his arrival, James Wade passed through the club for a single season.

The club's biggest league result came only in 2023–24, when it reached the Czech National Basketball League final and lost to ERA Basketball Nymburk. In continental competition, SLUNETA's furthest run was a quarter-final in the 2018–19 Alpe Adria Cup.
