Promotion play-offs settled it this summer: after finishing third in the regular phase of Primera Federación Femenina, Valencia beat CD Alba Fundación in the semi-final and drew 1–1 on aggregate with Villarreal, going up on the strength of the better regular-season record. It sends Las Che back into Liga F for 2026–27, a year after they had been relegated from it.

The club has spent most of its life shuttling between tiers rather than settling into one. Aitana Bonmatí passed through the academy before her career took her elsewhere, and Mari Paz Vilas is remembered as the player who defined the club's early identity as its top scorer.

Home games are usually played at the Antoni Puchades ground inside the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna, a 3,000-seat setting that suits the club's normal rhythm. It gets set aside for the Derbi Valenciano against Levante Las Planas, a fixture with enough pull to move to Mestalla; in April 2017 that derby drew around 17,000 spectators.

The team traces back to the Asociación Deportiva DSV Colegio Alemán, founded within Valencia's German School in November 2000. Valencia CF absorbed it in May 2009, and the side took the field under the club's own name for the first time that September.
