Hala Sportowa w Zamościu

The Duża Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa OSiR does not announce its presence with the noise of a match day. It sits quietly at ul. Królowej Jadwigi 8. The capacity is 884 . It is not a number that means anything to anyone outside the room, but it is the limit of what the space can hold.

The hall was built between 1967 and 1971. A renovation in 2006 restored the structure, and when the doors opened again on February 17, 2007, the room was ready for another cycle of tournaments and concerts.

The most crowded the hall ever gets is when Maryla Rodowicz performs. On September 22, 2017, she filled the venue to capacity, though no specific number was recorded to mark the occasion. The same room hosts the Twierdza Zamość Cup, where local volleyball clubs like UKS Azymut and Hetman Zamość play their youth sections.
