Kivikylän Areena
Rauma, Finland
Formerly: Äijänsuo Areena, Lännen Puhelin Areena, DNA Areena
The Äijänsuo district sits on the edge of the city of Rauma, where the land flattens towards the brackish water of the Gulf of Bothnia. The stands were reshaped in 1992 with the addition of seated rows and VIP boxes, and the roof was replaced in a renovation that ran through 2005 and 2006. The capacity is 5,400 in the standard configuration. A media cube was installed in 2008 and replaced in 2019; a smart ice rink system was added in 2022.
Rauman Lukko has played in this building since its first game. The club moved through several names with the arena: it was the Lännen Puhelin Areena from 2006 to 2007, then the DNA Areena, before becoming the Kivikylän Areena. Lukko U20 and the women's team share the ice with the senior side. The IIHF U18 World Championship was hosted here in 2007. The address is Nortamonkatu 23. The building is owned by the City of Rauma. The surface is ice.
