The actual arena is located at Mossgatan 27 . Since its opening in 1967 as Skellefteå Isstadion , the venue has adapted to the needs of the local club. A major renovation between 2005 and 2008 modernised the facilities. The capacity was adjusted to 5,801 to accommodate a new seated section and improve safety.

The arena remains the primary stage for the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) matches involving Skellefteå AIK. The venue has hosted multiple finals, including victories in 2013 and 2014, and a final in 2024.

It is an indoor facility with an artificial ice surface. The atmosphere is defined by the close proximity of the stands to the rink. While the official SHL attendance record is held here, the venue also hosts concerts and the Skellefteå Floorball Cup.
