Solnahallen: Stadium in Solna

Solnahallen has stood in the Skytteholm district since it opened in 1983. For now, the hall remains a working venue for basketball and handball, holding about 1,700 spectators in its standard setup.

Teams like the Solna Vikings have used the hardwood floor. On 26 September 1986, Metallica played their final concert of the Damage Inc. Tour here, the last time bassist Cliff Burton performed in public.

Since then, acts like Slayer, Rammstein and Iggy Pop have played the hall. The venue also hosts trade fairs, including the large record show Stora Skivmässan. It is simply Solnahallen.
