Sporthalle Aue

The hall sits on the slope of the Zeller Berg. The capacity is small, sitting at 300.

The facility was constructed in 1958. It shares its history with the Polytechnic Secondary School Wilhelm Pieck. The structure has remained largely unchanged in its purpose, though it saw renovations around 2005 and 2006 to keep it usable for modern sports.

It is owned by the City of Aue-Bad Schlema, which manages the other municipal halls in the area. There is no separate website for the hall; information is found only on the city portal. The building is known simply as the Sporthalle Aue, or sometimes as the hall at the Zeller School, distinguishing it from other venues with similar names. It has never had a sponsor’s name attached to it, remaining a public asset throughout its life.
