Adelia Petrosyan: preparation was chaotic
The Russian figure skater says her 2026/27 build-up was messy but she feels happy ahead of control skates at CSKA Arena on 19–20 September.
Adelia Petrosyan has begun preparing for the 2026/27 season, and admits the build-up has not gone entirely to plan.
"I'll probably be a bit nervous, because the preparation really was... a bit chaotic. But I'm going into the new season with such happy feelings. For now I'm enjoying myself, I don't know why, but it's fun (laughs)," she told the press service of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia.
The 19-year-old takes part in the Russian team's control skates at the CSKA Arena in Moscow on 19 and 20 September. Skaters perform their short programmes on the first day and their free programmes on the second.
