CONMEBOL Sub-17 Femenino 2025/26

Campeonato Sudamericano Femenino Sub-17 is the premier international youth football competition for women under the age of 17 in South America. Organised by CONMEBOL (the South American Football Confederation), the tournament began in 2008 with an inaugural edition held in Chile, where Colombia emerged as the first champions. It serves as the official continental qualifier for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

Participation is universal for all 10 member associations: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. There is no promotion or relegation. The format for the 2025 and 2026 editions consists of a preliminary group stage where the 10 teams are divided into two groups of five. Teams play a round-robin within their groups. The top three teams from each group—six teams in total—advance to the final phase, known as the Hexagonal Final. In this final stage, the six teams play another round-robin tournament. The winner of the Hexagonal Final is crowned the continental champion. The top four teams from this final group qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. Prior to 2025, only the top three teams qualified for the World Cup.

Brazil is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, having won the title six times in 2010, 2012, 2018, 2022, 2024, and 2026. Colombia won the inaugural 2008 edition. Venezuela has also won twice in 2013 and 2016. The current champion as of 2026 is Brazil, which defeated Argentina 3–2 in the final. The tournament is distinct from the CONMEBOL U-20 Women's Championship, which is the qualifier for the older age group, and from the Copa Libertadores Femenina, which is a club competition for senior women's teams. The tournament does not carry a commercial sponsor in its official name and is branded simply as CONMEBOL Sub-17 Femenino.
