The Coppa Titano is the main domestic cup tournament in San Marino. Established in 1937, it operates under the umbrella of the Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio (FSGC). The competition serves as a vital pathway for clubs seeking entry into European football, with the victor securing a spot in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Participation typically includes 15 of the 16 teams from the top-tier league. The structure generally follows a knockout format. Defending champions often receive a bye to the quarter-finals, while the remaining sides begin in the Round of 16. Ties are decided over two legs until the final stages. The championship match is a standalone fixture held at the San Marino Stadium in Serravalle. Should the score remain level after extra time, a penalty shootout determines the winner.
Historical dominance belongs to SP Libertas, which holds 11 titles in the tournament's history. SP Domagnano and SP La Fiorita follow with eight titles each, while SP Tre Fiori has claimed six. The most recent edition was won by Virtus, who defeated Tre Fiori to secure their second trophy. Prior to this, La Fiorita had taken the crown in 2024.
The tournament runs separately from the SuperCoppaSammarinese, which is a single-match event featuring the league champion and the cup winner. The Coppa Titano remains the primary domestic competition open to all clubs during the season, distinct from the league title in both timing and prestige.
