Hun Sen Cup (Cambodia) 2025/26

The Hun Sen Cup serves as the premier domestic knockout football competition in Cambodia, organized by the Football Federation of Cambodia. Officially known as the Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen Cup, the tournament was established in 2007. It holds a distinct position within the Cambodian football pyramid, operating separately from the top-tier Cambodian Premier League and the single-match Cambodian Super Cup. The event features a diverse field of 34 participants, bringing together clubs from the highest division, second-tier teams from the Cambodian League 2, and provincial representatives. The competition follows a structured path beginning with a preliminary group or provincial stage. This initial phase feeds into a national knockout format. The subsequent national rounds, including the Round of 16, Quarter-finals, and Semi-finals, are contested as two-legged ties involving home and away matches. The tournament concludes with a decisive Final played as a single match at a neutral venue. Success in the competition offers significant rewards, granting the victor qualification for the AFC Cup and the Super Cup. Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng is the most successful club in the tournament's history, having claimed six titles. Other notable winners include Phnom Penh Crown and Visakha, each securing three championships. The knockout nature of the cup allows lower-tier provincial teams the opportunity to compete against top-flight clubs, creating a broader national scope than the league alone.
