The Fiji Premier League is the top-tier football competition in Fiji. Established in 1977 by the Fiji Football Association (FFA), it sits at Level 1 of the Fijian football pyramid, above the Fiji Senior League. The league is currently sponsored as the Extra Premier League, having previously operated under the names Vodafone Premier League and Digicel Premier League.
The competition consists of ten clubs, including Ba, Labasa, Lautoka, Nadi, Nadroga, and Nasinu. The season format is a double round-robin, where each team plays every other team twice, totaling 18 matches per side. There are no play-offs for the championship; the team with the most points is crowned champion. Ba F.C. is the most successful club with 22 titles. The league serves as the primary qualifier for the OFC Champions League.
A formal promotion and relegation system was introduced in 2016. The bottom-placed team in the Premier League is relegated, while the winners of the Viti Levu and Vanua Levu zones in the Senior League compete in a playoff, with the winner promoted. The league expanded from eight to ten teams in 2022. It is distinct from the Fiji FA Cup, a knockout tournament, and the Inter-District Championship, a district-based tournament. The current reigning champion is Rewa FC, the 2024 winner.
