The **Saudi Women's Premier League** serves as the pinnacle of women's football in Saudi Arabia. Officially branded as the SAFF Women's Premier League, the competition operates under the auspices of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. It sits at Level 1 of the national pyramid, directly above the First Division, which feeds into it through promotion and relegation mechanisms.

The league was established in 2022 to replace regional community structures with a centralized professional model. Initially featuring eight sides, the competition expanded to ten teams for recent campaigns. Matches are contested in a double round-robin format, ensuring each club plays every opponent twice over 18 rounds. There are no playoffs; the title is decided by the highest points total at the conclusion of the regular season.

Al-Nassr Women holds a monopoly on success. They have won every edition of the competition since its inception, securing four consecutive titles through to the current 2026 season. Other prominent clubs such as Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad have consistently finished as runners-up but have not yet claimed the championship.

The league stands as the sole national league for women in the country, distinct from the knockout-style Saudi Women's Cup.
