The **Supercup of Bosnia and Herzegovina** (Superkup Bosne i Hercegovine) is an annual one-off football match organized by the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FSBiH). It serves as the curtain-raiser for the domestic season, featuring the previous season’s Premier League champion against the winner of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Kup BiH).
The competition has a fluctuating history. It began in 1997 and ran intermittently until 2001, when it was discontinued due to logistical difficulties and low interest. It remained dormant for more than twenty years before being revived in 2024. Since its reinstatement, the format has settled into a single match played at a neutral venue. A specific rule applies if a club achieves the domestic double: the league runner-up steps in to replace the cup winner as the opponent.
**FK Željezničar Sarajevo** holds the record for success in the competition’s original era, winning three titles between 1998 and 2001. In the modern era, **HŠK Zrinjski Mostar** has established dominance. The club won the revived editions in both 2024 and 2025. The 2025 final was a tight contest against **FK Sarajevo**, ending in a 0–0 draw before Zrinjski secured victory on penalties.
The event is distinct from the league and cup competitions in that it is a standalone fixture rather than part of a sustained tournament. There are no equivalent women’s or youth super cups within the Bosnian football structure.
