Super Cup (San Marino) 2025/26

The San Marino Super Cup (Supercoppa Sammarinese) stands as the annual super cup competition of San Marino football. Organized by the FSGC (Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio), it sits at the top of the domestic pyramid, which consists solely of the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio (Level 1). With no promotion or relegation existing within the national system since 1996, the competition forms a distinct entity from the broader European landscape, as San Marino clubs do not participate in the Italian league system.

The tournament has undergone significant structural evolution. From 1986 to 2011, it operated under the name Trofeo Federale (Federal Trophy). This earlier iteration was a four-team knockout tournament featuring the finalists of the league playoffs and the finalists of the Coppa Titano. Tre Fiori dominated this era with four titles. The format changed entirely in 2012 with the inauguration of the Super Coppa Sammarinese, replacing the Trofeo Federale. The current structure is a single match contested between the winner of the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio and the winner of the Coppa Titano. If a team achieves the domestic double by winning both league and cup, the runner-up of the Coppa Titano replaces them in the final.

Recent history highlights Virtus as the current holder, having won the 2023, 2024, and 2025 editions. In the modern era since 2012, La Fiorita, Tre Penne, Tre Fiori, and Virtus are tied for the most titles with three each. The competition remains distinct from the Coppa Titano, which is the primary knockout cup involving all 16 clubs, whereas the Super Cup is a one-off fixture between the two major title winners. This exclusive nature ensures that only the top two contenders meet annually, cementing its status as the premier domestic award.
