Etim found space down the left and drove toward the box before slotting home. It was a straightforward finish from close range, and here's the thing — Midtjylland did not need much more than that early strike to control the tempo. Aarhus lost their footing after the goal and struggled to string passes together.
The hosts pressed for an equaliser and created two big chances, but neither came off. Midtjylland's defence stayed compact, and when they broke forward they showed more conviction. By then the visitors had already made changes, Pedro Bravo coming on just before the break.
Castillo's goal came in the fifty-sixth minute after a move that stretched the back line. The finish was decisive, and Midtjylland then brought on three players in quick succession — Mikael Anderson, Mouhammade Camara, and Stefen Tchamche all appeared within the same window. The hosts followed with their own substitutions, bringing on Cho Gue-sung and Martin Erlic at the hour mark.

The win moves Midtjylland to 14 points from four victories and two draws, while Aarhus sit tenth with three points from three draws and three defeats. The gap between them is now eleven points, and the hosts cannot afford another slip if they want to climb the table.
