AB Copenhagen saw off Esbjerg 3-0 at home in the Regular Season ninth round of the First Division on Saturday. The hosts moved to nine points from nine matches, while the visitors remained on five after their eleventh-place standing.
S. Diop opened the scoring in the eighteenth minute with a finish that caught the defence flat-footed. To be fair, Esbjerg had spent the opening quarter probing for an opening, but the line has barely moved when Copenhagen sat deep and waited. The goal shifted the tempo entirely.
