Gladsaxe Stadion
The land came from the Marielyst estate, bought by Gladsaxe Municipality in the early 1930s, and the name stayed with the ground long after the farm was gone: Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst , usually shortened by everyone to Gladsaxe Idrætspark. The park opened on 26 May 1940.
Between November 1998 and September 1999 one long side was rebuilt as Tribune 3 — upper and lower tiers, 3,730 seats, a sponsor lounge — and when the gates opened again on 12 September 1999 the venue carried its present name.
The fullest it has been was 18 April 2004, when Akademisk Boldklub played FC København in the Superliga and 10,039 came through.
Two football clubs share it, Akademisk Boldklub and Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub, and so does the American football side Nordic Storm. The Danish Under-21 side has trained on the grass before a European Championship.
