Match report
BMS Herlev beat Bear Academy 82:75 on Saturday in the Basketligan. The match took place at the Bear Academy venue on 20 September 2026. The visitors took the win away from Copenhagen.
Both sides came into the game on a run of victories. Bear Academy had won five of their last five games, including a 103:60 rout of BMS Herlev back on 8 April. The visitors had won their last two outings, beating Amager 75:61 and Værløse BBK 97:74, but had lost to Væien and their previous meeting with the hosts.
The result moves BMS Herlev off the bottom of the table. Bear Academy remain in ninth place after 22 games, with six wins and 16 defeats. They have not added anything to their points total yet this season.
For BMS Herlev the win breaks a run of inconsistency. They had lost their last two before this, including that heavy 103:60 defeat to Bear Academy in April. They now have momentum heading into their next fixtures.
