Brøndby dominated possession at 68 per cent and registered 11 shots off target, yet only managed two on goal. And here's the thing about such statistics — they mean little when you cannot convert chances. Randers, with just 32 per cent possession, kept their shot accuracy at 67 per cent and took their opportunities ruthlessly.
The win moves Randers up to seventh place on 10 points from seven games, while Brøndby remain fifth with 13 points. The gap between them narrows, though the quality of performance tells a different story about who deserves better fortune.
