RTC Women 5, Master Women 0
RTC Women opened their AFC Women's Champions League campaign with a thorough victory over Master Women, winning 5-0 in the preliminary stage on Saturday. The result at the home ground followed a familiar pattern for both sides this season, though the margin was starker than most.
The goals came in quick succession after the interval. A strike at forty-two minutes broke the deadlock, then RTC added three more before the hour mark — fifty, fifty-three, and fifty-six minutes in close order. A fifth arrived on ninety-five, when the match had long since been decided.
And here's the thing about away form: RTC showed they can work against a side that sits deeper. They didn't need to chase the game. Master Women's back line, which has conceded thirty goals across five matches this season, offered little resistance when pressed.
Master Women's recent record reads like a cautionary tale. Nine goals lost to Banaat, eleven to Nasaf, five to this same opponent in August 2025, five to Kaohsiung, eleven more to Nakhonphan. The defensive structure hasn't improved, not visibly.
To be fair, RTC weren't flawless either. They lost 3-0 to Nasaf on Wednesday and drew 1-1 with Banaat earlier in the month. But against a side they beat 5-0 last August, they showed more control than their own results suggest.
The preliminary stage is still early. Master Women now face a long road back to competitiveness, while RTC have taken the first real step in their continental campaign.
