AFC Women's Champions League 2026/27

AFC Women's Champions League is the premier women's club football competition in Asia, organized by the Asian Football Confederation. It was established in 2024 to replace the irregular AFC Women's Club Championship, which operated as a pilot project from 2019 to 2023. The tournament serves as the top-tier continental championship for women's clubs on the continent.

The format differs significantly from the men's equivalent. While the men's competition features 32 teams, the women's version involves only 12 participants divided into three groups of four. Matches in the group stage are played in a centralized location using a round-robin system. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, progress to the knockout stage. This phase includes single-leg quarter-finals hosted by group winners or best runners-up, followed by a centralized "Final Four" for the semi-finals and final.

Qualification is determined by the AFC Women's Club Competitions Ranking. This system blends club performance with national team FIFA rankings, allocating one entry per participating member association during the early years. There is no promotion or relegation within the tournament structure itself; qualification relies strictly on domestic league success. The competition has no title sponsor, retaining the name "AFC Women's Champions League."

The inaugural 2024–25 season was won by Wuhan Jiangda from China, who defeated Melbourne City on penalties. In the 2025–26 campaign, Naegohyang from North Korea claimed the title after beating Tokyo Verdy Beleza. The predecessor tournament was won by Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies in its final 2023 edition. Notable winners of the earlier championship include Nippon TV Beleza in 2019 and Amman SC in 2021. The winner of the 2024–25 edition received prize money totaling USD 1.3 million.

The current season features clubs such as Abu Dhabi Country Women, Al Nassr Women, April Women, Armed Police Force Women, Ayeyawady Women, and Bam Khatoon Women.
