Banaat Women

The first title in the history of the UAE Women's Football League went to a club. Banaat won the 2025/26 league and then the first UAE Women's Super Cup in the same season, playing home matches at the UAE Football Association headquarters in Al-Khawaneej, a district on the eastern edge of Dubai. Training space came earlier from Al-Nasr, which sponsored a pitch. The club's own stadium, planned for central Dubai, exists so far only as an intention.

Badreya Faisal set the club up on 28 August 2023, Emirati Women's Day, as the first independent women's club in the Arab region. Banaat was not spun out of an existing men's club, which is how women's football in the region has usually arrived. Nike came on as a partner. The squad draws on 16 nationalities.

The lilac in the shirt is the bougainvillea, the Jahannamiya, the country's unofficial flower; the 2025/26 home kit sets black stripes across it.

Continental football in 2026/27 gave the fuller measure of where the club stands. Banaat put nine past Master FC of Los Angeles in the preliminary round without reply and reached the group stage of the AFC Women's Champions League , where Nasaf of Uzbekistan cut them open at will and won 7-0. The domestic season had already shown a limit as well: Precision FC beat them in the final of the first UAE Women's Cup.

Below the first team, the academy took first place in both the U11 and U17 divisions of the Youth Football League across the summer and winter seasons.
