Ilbirs Women

The women's side of Ilbirs plays its home matches at the FFKR Football Centre Stadium in Bishkek.

The club exists because the men's side does. Ilbirs Bishkek, a Kyrgyz Premier League club, set up a women's team in early 2018, and the two share the name and the nickname — Irbisy, from the Kyrgyz word for snow leopard.

For seven seasons that arrangement produced nothing worth recording outside Kyrgyzstan. Then came 2025, when the women won the national championship. That title carried more than domestic weight: it entered the club in the qualifying round of the 2026/27 AFC Women's Champions League.

The qualifying tie against Phnom Penh Crown of Cambodia ended 0:2. The continental run was over almost as soon as it began.

What the club has yet to build is a public face. There is no published record of the women's colours or their own crest. The club's site, ilbirs-fc.kg, lists the ground.

Which leaves the 2025 champions known collectively rather than individually: a team identified by the season it won, playing under a snow leopard borrowed from the men next door.
