Hang Yuan Women

A Catholic university in New Taipei owns a football club. Fu Jen Catholic University runs Hang Yuan, women's side and men's side both, and the women play their home matches on the university's own football ground.

The club did not begin under this name. It was Air Source Development FC when it entered the Intercity Football League in 2013, a year after its founding in 2012.

The side entered the preliminary stage of the AFC Women's Champions League for 2026/27, drawn against FC Jurong of Singapore and two Myanmar clubs, Ayeyawady FC and No Limits. The club sits fifth in the Mulan Football League at home.

There is no shopfront to speak of. No official website turns up; the club's public presence runs through a Facebook page and its listing with the Taiwanese league.

The rivalries that matter, then, are the ones the draw hands over. Jurong and the Myanmar pair are not old enemies — there is no history between them to add an edge, only a preliminary round and a small margin between going through and going home.
