Fu Jen University Football Stadium
New Taipei City, Taiwan
Formerly: Guizi Stadium, New Comprehensive Stadium
Fu Jen University Football Stadium sits inside the campus of Fu Jen Catholic University in Xinzhuang.
The ground began life in 1988 as the New Comprehensive Stadium, built after the Society of the Divine Word bought a plot near the back gate on Guizi Road.
The turning point came ahead of the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei. The pitch was rebuilt to FIFA two-star artificial turf standard, floodlights went in, and the ground was expanded to host Universiade fixtures, including the men's final between Japan and France and the women's final between Brazil and Japan. Once the tournament left town, the extra capacity came down with it, and the stadium settled back to its current, modest size.
These days it is the home of Hang Yuan FC , formerly known as Air Source Development FC, which has been tied to the university since 2017.
