Slavia Prague Women opened Regular Season Round 7 with a 2-0 victory over Prague Raptor Women at home on Saturday. The result extends the hosts' perfect start to the campaign, moving them further clear at the top of the table. Prague Raptor suffered only their first defeat of the season, dropping to fourth place.
K. Dubcova broke the deadlock in the twenty-seventh minute, finishing a well-worked move to put Slavia ahead. The goal came after sustained pressure from the home side, who had been dominating possession in the opening quarter. By then, Slavia had already established their rhythm, pinning Raptor back in their own half.
I. Briede doubled the advantage in the seventy-second minute, capitalising on a defensive error to slot home. The visitors struggled to contain the home attack after the break, and the second goal effectively closed the game out. Raptor made several changes to try and find a way back into it, but the damage was done.
Discipline became an issue for both sides, with five yellow cards shown in total. T. Krejcirikova collected the first booking in the twenty-third minute, while T. Szewieczkova and M. Ringelova followed shortly after. D. Bartovicova and L. Skrcena also entered the referee's notebook before the final whistle.
Both managers made multiple substitutions in the second half, with nine changes combined. Slavia brought on A. Trachtova in the sixty-first minute, while Raptor responded with a double change at sixty-six. The home side also used their bench, bringing on I. Briede and A. Cordeiro to see out the victory.
The result leaves Slavia Prague Women six points clear at the summit with eighteen points from six matches. Prague Raptor sit on twelve points from five games, their first loss of the season ending a run of four consecutive clean sheets. The hosts continue to look formidable at home, having scored heavily in their previous fixtures.
