Federico Dimarco named Serie A's best player at Gran Gala

Inter's left-back topped a strong night for the Nerazzurri, who were also named club of the year with four players in the team of the season.

Federico Dimarco was named Serie A's best player for 2025/26 at the Gran Gala del Calcio, held at Milan's Teatro alla Scala on Wednesday evening. The winners were chosen by a vote of the players themselves, organised by the Italian footballers' association.

Inter also took club of the year and placed four men in the eleven-strong team of the season.

Cesc Fabregas was voted coach of the year after taking Como into the Champions League for the first time in the club's history. Como finished fourth in Serie A last season under Fabregas to book that place among Europe's elite.

Roma left with two individual prizes, for goalkeeper Mile Svilar and forward Donyell Malen.
