The 32-year-old defender's current deal was due to expire in the summer of 2027 and carried an option for a further season. The new terms also include a pay rise, according to the source.
Djiku joined Spartak from Fenerbahce in September 2025, having previously played for Strasbourg and Bastia. He has made 38 appearances for the Moscow club across all competitions, with one assist to his name. Transfermarkt values him at €3.5 million.
Spartak sit second in the Russian Premier League with 16 points and host Fakel on 16 September.
