Julián Álvarez has trained fully with the Atlético Madrid squad ahead of Saturday's derby and is available for selection against Real Madrid, Diego Simeone has confirmed.

The two meet on Saturday in round seven, kicking off at 17:15 Moscow time.

Álvarez has scored 6 goals for Argentina since making his debut for the national side in November 2022.
