Rafa Márquez Leads First Mexico Training Session
The new Mexico coach held his first training with 17 of 30 called-up players ahead of Saturday's friendly against Colombia in Baltimore.
Only 17 of the 30 players named for the four-match tour of the United States were present. Six more, based in Europe, were due to join on Tuesday: Johan Vásquez, Armando González, Álvaro Fidalgo, Obed Vargas, Mateo Chávez and Santiago Giménez. Andrés Guardado, another former Tri idol, is part of Márquez's coaching staff and was seen in constant conversation with the new head coach throughout the session.

The tour continues in October with matches against the United States in Glendale, Arizona, on 3 October, and against Chile three days later in Los Angeles.
