Estos días hemos presentado la documentación para estar preparados porque España no debe renunciar a organizar la fase final de esta competición," Louzán said. "Los estadios van a ser el Santiago Bernabéu y el Nuevo José Zorrilla. Hemos propuesto estos estadios con la colaboración del Real Madrid y del Real Valladolid."
Under the bid, the semi-finals and the third-place match would be split between the two grounds, with the Bernabéu, capacity 83,186, staging the final, provided UEFA selects Spain as host. The final four is scheduled for 9-13 June 2027.
The Bernabéu has not staged a major final since its renovation, with construction work still not formally signed off. Real Madrid's involvement in preparing the bid points to the club's own interest in bringing a showpiece fixture back to the ground.
Spain arrive at this bid on the back of a strong run: they sit top of their World Cup qualifying group on 7 points from 3 matches, and by all accounts a Nations League campaign on home soil, with the hosts potentially in the final itself, would only sharpen UEFA's interest in the Spanish bid.
