Tuchel Stays Silent on Anderson and Guehi Support
England boss addressed the Man City financial rules verdict, praising Guehi and Anderson's performances but declining to comment on the club's situation.
Thomas Tuchel declined to say whether he had reached out to Elliot Anderson and Marc Guehi after Manchester City were found guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules.
"No, I have not spoken to them and I will not comment on it. I am fully focused on everything we need to deal with here and on preparing the team," Tuchel said.
He added praise for both players' displays for Chelsea. "I think Marc was excellent today after a difficult match against Spain. He responded at the highest level, and Elliot Anderson also had a good game," Tuchel said.
Anderson, a central midfielder, has been a Chelsea international since January 2024 and is yet to score for the side. Tuchel named him in the squad for the Nations League fixtures against Spain, Czechia and Croatia alongside Kane, Bellingham and Palmer.
