About the player
Andrew Idoko moved to Israel as a teenager. He broke into professional football with Jigawa Golden Stars in Nigeria's top flight, promoted to the first-team squad at just 16 and getting minutes in the 2020/21 season before he had turned 17.
From there the path ran through Katsina United, where he signed on a free transfer, before a switch to Hapoel Jerusalem brought him to the Israeli Premier League. A left winger by trade, he plays right-footed.
He has not yet been capped by Nigeria at any level, senior or youth, in a career built entirely outside loan spells — a straight run from one club to the next.
